This morning as I sifted through endless emails one in particular grabbed my attention.
Drawn towards this email much like the attraction a magpie has to a shiny object flickering I could not help but email the following to the government with an attachment about the latest funding cuts that the Australian leaders seem to view as a ‘can do’ great idea.
Here is what the email said:
Hon Campbell Newman,
Please find attached a full document of my opposition to the removal of the tenants advice services.
I wish to further add, that I am disgusted in a government who claims your slogan of ‘can do’, when this slogan is at the detriment of those Australians already living below the poverty line, I am ashamed for the first time to say that our government has failed my family and other families within the plentiful land that we live upon.
Australians are suffering at the hands of cut’s in sectors that these cuts should not be being taken from, due to a government that has promised to deliver a surplus in the budget, unfortunately like most other promises these come with a price, a price that most Australian families cannot afford to pay, as the wages do not increase as yours do in the house parliament, we battle to survive.
However further this issue, I would like to raise the issue of those coming to Australia seeking asylum and the recent offer by the prime minister to families across the country, of a cash incentive to open their doors to an asylum seeker, this not only made me feel physically ill, it brought to the for front the issue of those Australians who need a home, and would be more than grateful to have somebody open a door to assist them, a helping hand to reintegrate them into the local and extended community’s, so I put it to you and your governing body, to offer the same for those Australians who are suffering, and put out the same incentives to people to open their doors and assist a fellow Australian who has no home?
In closing, I am sincerely let down by the government and its politics, I am further embarrassed at the way our beautiful country has been turned into a mosh pit for members to air their dirty laundry, spend public funds and be accountable for none of their actions.
‘Can do’ government has certainly continued on its trail of letting us the Australians down, leading us further into poverty and allowing into our sinking land, more and more individuals seeking asylum.
Faithfully
I shake my head at the government who literally line their own pockets with money they rob from Peter and fuck Paul with, I am honestly at a loss for words with the muddy mess that the government has left our country, which for the record is the largest island in the world and the world’s smallest continent, in.
So once again my attention turned to the house of representatives and their so-called ‘can do’ nothing but fuck it up making a bad situation much worse, with a women who stole her role as the prime minster from Kevin Rudd, further leading us deeper into the sinking mud that we have become after the natural disasters that we have suffered.
I might add that these disasters were due to more than just mother nature as the yearlong flood investigations report reviled, which again was money wasted on alleged investigators to tell us what we already knew, that the flood that swamped Toowoomba in January 2011 was human error.
People not following the manual laid out in plain fucking black and white, causing ongoing heartache, lost lives, and people still missing in towns such as Grantham, bodies that may never be found, and why? Well human error and ignorance as the dam operators did not release the dams in due course.
Consequence, an inland tsunami!
Ongoing consequence, homelessness for literally thousands more Australians meanwhile more time wasted in parliament as they argue over the asylum seekers.
Well in all honesty, Pauline Hanson got it right when she bravely made her controversial statement, of ‘send the chinkey chinks home’.
I am a believer that charity begins at home; why the fuck does the government continue to ignore the basic fundamentals of it all and continue to play the game of Russian roulette with our futures?
A question that will never be answered is what I have concluded.
However it doesn’t mean I will stop voicing my opinion, to the newspapers to that stupid twitter thing, even on Facebook, to the government and its total disregard for us the people of Australia I say ‘Fuck em’.

Its the same everywhere once they have your vote they don’t give a shit anymore
